Information For Suppliers
Healthzone Solutions is Australia’s leading contract distributor of products to the health food market.
We are a national distributor and have a central distribution centre in Milperra NSW as well as a distribution facility in Perth Western Australia carrying over 4500 lines for 170 companies.
Healthzone Solutions has over 35 years experience in dealing with health food stores, and lead the industry in technology.
The information provided here will help you understand the requirements and procedures which need to be followed to ensure your products flow efficiently through our distribution network.
New Suppliers
If you are a new supplier to Healthzone Solutions, you will need to provide us with:
- A completed Distribution Agreement which outlines the responsibilities of both parties. This will be negotiated prior to stock being ordered.
- Complete company details including phone, fax, mobile, web address and key contacts
Pricing
All pricing should be in the consumer unit. This is the price of the actual item sold to the consumer at retail store level.
The reason for this is that all retailers have to cost the goods they sell by the consumer unit, so to keep consistency throughout the distribution channel we price, order and invoice everything in single units.
Barcodes
In today’s marketplace most distributors and retail operations rely on barcodes. All products placed into Healthzone Solutions warehouses must have a barcode on the product (this is called an E.A.N). We also require all suppliers to have a barcode on the outside carton (this is called a T.U.N). Information on EAN and TUN can be obtained from www.ean.com.au
Carton Sizes & Weights
Due to Occupational Health & Safety requirements, Healthzone Solutions has limits on the size and weight of outer cartons.
As a guideline cartons should be less than 13kg in weight and no bigger than 300mm wide, 300mm high or 400mm deep.
Please note that if you decide to change your carton quantities, you must advise us and a new TUN number would be required.

Included is a list of our current Promotional opportunities in the Marketing to Retailers section of the website.
All New Suppliers are required to take advantage of these promotional opportunities and this will be discussed when your Distribution Agreement is finalised.
