Peter Roach
MAICD
Executive Chairman
Peter Roach has more than 25 years experience in the Australian health food industry. As former Chairman and Marketing Director of Go Vita Distributors Pty Limited, Peter administered a national health food distribution and retail operation that today successfully operates with more than 100 retail stores. As former Managing Director of DVC Discount Vitamin Centres, Peter developed a retail chain of health food stores in Sydney and Melbourne with more than 70,000 loyalty club members.

Michael Ge Wu

Executive Director
Michael Wu has successfully implemented initiatives for export, logistics, business development, for product development, contract manufacturing, research and development and planning and execution of Healthzone’s business acquisition activities.
Michael holds a Master of Commerce Degree, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael Jenkins

Finance Director and Company Secretary
Michael was appointed Company Secretary in December 2008 and Finance Director in August 2009. Michael has more than 20 years experience in finance and as a senior executive. Michael is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Company Secretaries and the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

General Manager Operations, Matthew Jinks
Matthew Jinks’ professional career spans 17 years in the FMCG business and 5 years in the gifting business. He has gained valuable experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing. He has worked across numerous product categories and his experience covers both company owned and developed brands as well as distributed brands.
Since joining Healthzone Solutions in July 2008, Matthew has worked on establishing a first class customer service, distribution and procurement team as well as implementing industry best service levels for our customers.

 

Mathew Jinks

General Manager Sales and Marketing, Michael Trevaskis
Mike Trevaskis began his career in the health food industry in Adelaide in 1979. Mike has worked his way through Sales Representative, State Manager, Key Account Manager, Brand Manager and National Sales Manager roles culminating in the National Sales and Marketing role at Thompsons Nutrition, successfully launching the brand in Australia.
Mike joined Healthzone  in early 2009 taking on the new role of General Manager Sales and Marketing. Since then Mike has established a team of Territory Managers and is driving the sales of Company owned brands: Natural Alternative, Aurinda, BOD, HL Vitamins (Healthy Life Private Label) and many supplier brands.

 

Michael Trevaskis

General Manager Retail, Geoff Sainsbury
Geoff Sainsbury started in the Health Food Industry in 1972 working for the industries then largest distributor and franchisor for Healthy Life. In 1985 he joined Nutra Life working his way up to Australian General Manager having launched the brand into health food stores.
After a period concentrating on his own retail store interests, Geoff joined Healthzone to develop the Natural Alternative range of food, skin care and cleaning products. On completion of this project and the launch of some 90 products Geoff was appointed to the position of General Manager Retail with responsibility for the Healthy Life franchise group as well as taking responsibility of the operations of the seven company owned stores.
